DESCRIPTION:Guided wine walk on the Roter Hang – through the vines with
  a winegrower\nSaturday\, 25 April at 3pm\n\nAdvance ticket purchaseis r
 equired. (Please make sure you select Saturday or Sunday!)\nFor the 2026
  DWI Wine Walking Weekend\, the Wein vom Roten Hang association invites
  you on a special journey along our Wine Experience Trail. Walk through 
 the spectacular Roter Hang landscape with a winegrower and hear first-ha
 nd what makes our vineyard sites so distinctive.\nAt six of the twelve s
 elected stops\, taste wines right where they grow\, overlooking the Rhin
 e and the red rocks that made these vineyards famous. A small regional p
 icnic is included.\nThe guided walk starts at the Alter Saumarkt in Nie
 rstein\, the first stop on the Wine Experience Trail. From there\, the r
 oute covers around 8 kilometres through the vineyards and takes approxim
 ately 3½–4 hours\, depending on breaks and chats with the winegrower.
 .\nA tip for walkers:\nComfortable footwear\, clothing suited to the wea
 ther and time to linger will help you make the most of this walk. If you
  would like to stay longer after the final stop\, round off the day at o
 ne of Nierstein's seasonal wine taverns or restaurants.\nAn experience c
