 026 DWI Wine Walking Weekend\, the Wein vom Roten Hang association invi
 tes you on a special journey along our Wine Experience Trail. Walk throu
 gh the spectacular Roter Hang landscape with a winegrower and hear first
 -hand what makes our vineyard sites unique. Sunday's walk is exclusively
  accompanied by Rheinhessen Wine Queen Kathrin Knierim!\nAt six of the t
 welve selected stops\, taste wines right where they grow\, overlooking t
 he Rhine and the red rocks that made these vineyards famous. A small reg
 ional picnic is included.\nThe guided walk starts at the Alter Saumarkt
  in Nierstein\, the first stop on the Wine Experience Trail. From there\
 , the route covers around 8 kilometres through the vineyards and takes a
 pproximately 3½–4 hours\, depending on breaks and chats with the wine
 grower..\nA tip for walkers:\nComfortable footwear\, clothing suited to 
 the weather and time to linger will help you make the most of this walk.

 ay at one of Nierstein's seasonal wine taverns or restaurants.\nAn exper
