Organic wine & big band – opening of the Summer of Culture

Enjoy a delightful time in the town park! Look forward to the infectious sounds of the Rheinhessen Big Band and delicious organic wines from Weingut Kopp – the perfect start to the Summer of Culture.

Since its foundation in 2008, the Rheinhessen Big Band has delivered atmospheric performances, a full big-band sound and irresistible rhythms, true to its motto: bringing swing and joy.

Led by conductor, trumpeter, singer and composer Florian Wehse, the band looks forward to returning to Nierstein’s town park for the opening of the Summer of Culture. Mayor Jochen Schmitt, the district head and the town’s deputy mayors also regard this performance as a musical highlight.

Admission to the opening is free. Food and drink will be available.
