The exclusive Gratwanderung on the Roter Hang – now available as a private group experience!
Our popular Gratwanderung will in future be offered exclusively as a bookable service for private groups. Whether you are a company, club or family, enjoy a fascinating walk through the Roter Hang together. A light meal can be added on request; please ask when booking.
During the approximately two-hour tour, enjoy breathtaking Rhine views and discover the Roter Hang’s distinctive geology, landscape, native plants, viticulture and seasonal vineyard work. A particular highlight is holding 290-million-year-old rock and discovering fossilised shark teeth from the time when Rheinhessen was a sea.
The experience culminates in an exclusive tasting of three Roter Hang wines. A local winegrower leads the tasting, bringing the uniqueness of this special vineyard area to life in your glass.

The meeting point and time are arranged individually with participants.
The price is €15 per person, with a minimum of ten participants. Smaller groups are welcome if they are happy to share the minimum total cost.
