Weingut Eimermann

Nierstein-Schwabsburg lies in the north-east of Rheinhessen, beside the Rhine and the famous Roter Hang. Our roots here run as deep as those of our vines. Through our wines, we hope to share a little of our home with the world.

We are Weingut Eimermann, a traditional family business where everyone works together: Werner and Thore Eimermann, both qualified oenologists, two young Eimermanns, Thore’s wife Sina, our colleague Elke and a wonderful team!

Our family has been growing grapes since the 19th century. Working in the vineyards and cellar, responding to nature’s challenges and making wines with character are crafts we practise with dedication and passion.

Our vineyards include some of the finest sites on the Roter Hang, such as Pettenthal, Oelberg and Goldene Luft. They provide the perfect foundation for mineral Rieslings full of character – our all-time favourite! We also explore new directions, growing older, rarer varieties such as Viognier, a rarity in Rheinhessen. Definitely worth trying!

We devote time and care to cultivating our vines in harmony with nature, harvesting high-quality grapes at their best and handling them gently in the cellar.
